Les Royal Pickles
Louis and The Royal Pickles, c’est le son actuel de Montréal. Partant d’une base musicale Américaine, rattachée avant tout à la Nouvelle-Orléans et à l’histoire du swing, mais avec une forte influence de la chanson française, ne serait-ce que par le bilinguisme du répertoire.
« On est pas un groupe de puriste, » déclare Aurélien Tomasi, clarinettiste. « On est un groupe qui s’influence de différentes sources et qui se crée un son qui est populaire, et festif. » Ce son, il sera présent sur l’album qui se produira en début 2015, avec une sortie prévue en Mars, et une tournée mondiale en vue.
C’est ainsi qu’après avoir trouvé un grand succès dans les rues et les salles de Montréal, le groupe cherche à étendre ses horizons et s’ouvrir au reste du monde, soucieux de partager la culture Montréalaise, Française, Américaine qui les réunit, sous le signe du swing qui est à l’honneur chaque soir que les Royal Pickles attrapent leurs instruments.
De bon coeur, Louis résume en annonçant : « On est là pour s’amuser et que les gens s’amusent. »

Miche Love and the Atomic Bullets is well known for schorching jumped blues and swing that could peel the chrome off your ride. In 2006 Miche Love won Haitian Idol.After having been discovered by guitarist Louis Janelle , Miche Love has performed all over Québec. In 2013 The Band won over crowd at « Festival International de blues de Tremblant» and was nominated best band of the year at the 2016 edition of « Jivefest ».Miche Love and the Atomic Bullets will make you dance all night long with a unik groove!

Derek Falls Is a music recording Artist who started performing at the early age of 13 along side of his father, a local legend Thomas Falls. He also became founder and CEO of his own Record Label in Montreal “Styling Music” a Recording Studio and a Production house called D&A Productions in association with Annik Boivin. Setting the pace for the release of his second Album: “All is Forgiven” His third Album “The Better Side of me” is distributed on Itunes. Working on new materials he released his videos “Down at the utcher Shop” & “King & Queen” of his third Album.The team is working on the new Album TKO! A dancer for more than 10 years and DJ for more than 7, Olivier specializes in New Orleans music and charleston. He has been DJing for various events, including the Canadian Swing Championship as the head DJ since 2013. He has a knack for finding and spreading new bands and music — you can be sure that he will keep you on the dancefloor until complete exhaustion!.
Gabrielle loves playing music that gets dancers out on the floor and keeps them there! Her passion is music that moves you, be it blues, classic swing, vintage-style jazz, or more soulful funky tunes. Be careful, her music will often inspire you to dance long after your feet would have called it a night.
Victor has been a DJ since 1980 and started DJing at West Coast Swing events in 1996. He has DJed at many of the country’s top swing events, including The Texas Classic (formerly America’s Classic), The US Open, Dallas DANCE, Boogie by the Bay, USA Grand Nationals, Americas’ Classic, Liberty Swing, Swing Diego, Swing Fling, Summer Hummer, Tampa Bay Classic, Capital, MAD Jam, Seattle Easter Swing, and Phoenix 4th of July. Victor was also the first U.S. DJ to play at WCS events in the UK, Australia and Israel.
Victor was honored with the “Allswing DJ of the Year” in 2005; was inducted into the DJ Swing Hall of Fame and received the “Wetzel Award” in 2012; and was inducted into the “Global Swing DJ’s Hall of Fame” in 2013. Victor is an All-Star WCS dancer; he Emcees at many events; and, he passes on his DJ knowledge through his workshop, Music and Dancing, as well as offering private lessons and mentoring to new DJs. In 2014, Victor became co-event director of River City Swing in Jacksonville, FL.
PO, short for Pierre-Olivier, has been dancing west coast swing since 2008. In 2012 he started collecting every song he came across, and learned how to DJ properly. Since then, he has performed regularly at monthly dance nights in his hometown, Quebec City, as well as events such as Kyle and Sarah Montreal WCS workshop, Stephen White Montreal WCS workshop, Canadian Swing Championships and Swingin’Montreal. Pierre-Olivier likes a variety of music styles, and tries to please as well as challenge the crowd.
Tanya started dancing lindy hop and blues as a university student in Montreal, quickly becoming entrenched in the social dance culture and the history of blues and jazz. Her thirst for music led her to start DJing, first on a monthly basis, but quickly exploding into weekly escapades that involved studios, bars, house parties, workshops, exchanges, car rides, outdoors, and late nights. Her electrifying sets have earned her the nickname of “DJ Thunder Teal”. As a social dancer, competitor, and teacher, Tanya tries to stay true to the roots of the dances, and as DJ, she tries to inspire people to discover those roots and authentic jazz and blues movement through the music that she plays. From slow and sultry to fast and fun, from the classic savoy ballroom to the gritty juke joints of Chicago, Tanya brings dancers on a journey at every dance.
