West Coast Swing
Myles Munroe & Tessa Cunningham
Since 2007, CSC has been proud to team up with Canadian West Coast Swing Champions Myles Munroe and Tessa Cunningham Munroe to represent the authentic West Coast Swing side of the event! Every year since then, the Westie side of CSC has grown consistently, both in size and quality!
Westies get their OWN DANCE ROOM EVERY NIGHT designated WCS DJ’s who know their WCS music: Contemporary, R&B, Blues (GOOD Blues!), Funk, 60’s, Jazz, Classic Rock, Beach, Soul… Blues dancers highly encouraged – this is where most of the Blues music will be played. Westie-curious-Hoppers always welcome!
Try some crossover workshops or get your fill of WCS workshops – there’s lots to choose from for ALL LEVELS. Taught by top pros with current teaching methods: Sean McKeever & Courtney Adair, Ben McHenry & Cameo Cross, Bonnie & Jerome Subey, Kay Newhouse & Matt Smith, and more! There will be special workshops for experienced Lindy dancers who are trying WCS for the first time – you don’t have to start from scratch!
Back by popular demand, there will be at least 3 Advanced/AllStar level workshops that will be by invitation/audition only. Stay tuned for more info!
